Personal identity in media society: Approaches from a socio-psychological and Christian social-ethical perspective
Medialization is acknowledged to be a central development of current social modernization processes, even a total social phenomenon. In sociology, therefore, there has been much talk of media society as a basic theory. Personal, individual identity and formation of this identity in such a society is induced by the media to a large extent. And it is certainly true that both Germany and South Korea, can be classified as such media societies.
